INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE COURSE
Our basic 200hr Yoga course guides you with a basic knowledge about Yoga and this advanced 300hr course provides complete knowledge about Yoga. Rather than confusing many concepts at a single time, we choose a particular path and make concept of yoga clear. Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga which are our traditional studies of Yoga, we teach these from our ancient texts. Entire 196 sutras of Patanjali Yog Darshan and Hatha Yog Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita are taught. After studying which, there is nothing left for more study. Only you need to understand it in a more deeper way by self-studying anf practicing it. Because study of Yoga is very deeper. So, you can go as much deeper as you wish to by pondering on what you have studied and understood. As this study of Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga is complete in itself.
This 300hour Yoga Teacher Training provides a complete confidence to a person. We have seen nowadays many people complete their yoga courses, also have degrees but still their knowledges are incomplete and there is no confidence in them inside to teach others. They have a confused mindset yet. But we here at Om Yoga have framed our courses keeping in mind each and every small point of these people too that after completion, there is no feeling of incompletion inside. Specially, most of the people seen nowadays feel they cannot do Yoga because they have no flexible bodies or suffer from some physical problem. And so feel demotivated for doing Yoga. But our courses are planned in a proper planned manner that anyone can do these courses. We have made different series of Asanas(around 6) , Pranayama(around 4) and philosophy too(Philosophy we teach from very basic level). Our series are designed very systematically from basic level to advanced level. We start teaching from basic series and week by week, slowly and gradually take to advanced series. In this method, even those people who have less flexibility or any physical problem, also can do easily without facing much exertion physically or mentally. And those who say we cannot do Yoga because of less flexibility they come to the point where they can even do advanced level too. This builds confidence in them upon what they have studied. As rather than touching the modern studies of Yoga, we start from very traditional concepts. Like for eg. if you want to control entire tree and start to touch leaves of a tree, you cannot hold entire tree. But if you hold root part of a tree, entire tree comes under your control . SImilarly, here also by touching root of Yoga you can understand the entire world of Yoga. And this makes you more stronger in your knowledge and can understand all the concepts of Yoga.
Nowadays, it is seen so many varieties of Yoga are in trend like Hot Yoga, Red Yoga, Sup Yoga, Power Yoga and son on. But very rare people teach the roots of Yoga from where these new varieties have been established. All these different varieties of yoga practised nowadays are not traditional, they are not real Yogas. It is but natural if we want to know something about the particular thing, we need to understand its main concept. This makes our knowledge complete. Else, how much you study still concepts will not be clear. For eg. you want to grow a tree. But keep its roots weaker, it is not possible to grow a strong tree from weaker roots. Thereby, if your root knowledge of Yoga which consists of Ashtanga and Hatha Yog, is stronger then you feel complete from inside. This builds your confidence and you become capable to teach Yoga anywhere amongst any category of people as your roots are stronger.
In addition to Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga, we also teach here Anatomy for Yoga and Yoga Therapy. Ofcourse, traditional Yoga doesnot say much about Yoga Therapy and Anatomy. As Yoga doesnot mean therapy but while walking on this path, it automatically comes along with. But as nowadays we can see majority of the people suffer from physical and mental problem, so this term Yoga Therapy is in very much practice. So, taking this into account we have also included this very concept. Now, Yoga Anatomy is not a part of Yoga but to study therapy, Anatomy is very important to study without this one cannot understand therapy. We here teach Anatomy for different systems of body, asanas and pranayama. This helps us to understand concepts of Therapy easily. How to provide therapy to the person with the help of asanas and pranayama. Like that, if we see Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga itself is therapy, both physically and mentally. But, this topic separately touches entire therapeutic process. Here, we focus on how to cure the person only with the use of Yoga. Overall we have tried to give everything in this level.
This is what Om Yoga emphasizes upon. We provide 100% gurantee to the people who complete their course at our centre, will have no confusions in their minds and feel confident about what they have studied. And they leave our centre with complete knowledge about Yoga and ready to teach others or even open thier own yoga centre.
